DJ Stuart Dale has been running Boho Unders, an under 18′s nightclub in the west end of Glasgow for three years. He explains how he came to turn his passion for DJing into a job, progressing from mixing his own songs to playing in clubs to running his own night. He also introduces us to his mentor, Paul Hislop, and explains how being mentored can make all the difference when you’re making the leap between being an amateur and going pro. “It’s a big job, almost 24-7″ he says. Stuart’s decision to turn professional has many rewards, but it also means he has loads of responsibility and is always on call.
